Ravindra Jain Wiki, Biography, Age Full Details| Died At The Age of 71: Ravindra Jain was a popular Indian music composer and lyricist, who died on 9 October 2015 at the age of 71 in a hospital in Mumbai, from multiple organ failure. He won the Film fare Best Music Director Award in 1985. He was a well-respected figure, and considered a role model for many people, as he overcame his disability of blindness. He started singing at a very young age, reciting Jain bhajans and poetry by famous Jain poets such as Pandit Dyanantraiji, Pandit Budhjanji, etc. He received basic training under Pandit G.L. Jain, Pandit Janardhan Sharma, and Pandit Nathu Ram.

He was born on February 28, 1944 in Aligarh, UP to well-known Sanskrit scholar and Ayurvedacharya, Pandit Indramani Jain and mother Kiran Jain. He is the third child among seven brothers and a sister. Ravindra Jain’s elder siblings are Pandit Mahendra Kumar Jain, a renowned Ayurvedic physician and D.K. Jain, director of the Times Group and a famous judge. Jain’s younger brother Manindra Jain runs a successful construction and real estate business in/around the New Delhi region.
Another brother Vijay Jain is based in Canada and next brother Akhilesh Jain resides in Mumbai with his family. Tarun Kumar Jain, his youngest brother was AE at Harduaganj Thermal Power Station, Kasimpur Power House.
He is one of the most notable of the Hindi music directors who started his career in the early 1970s, composing for hit films such as Chor Machaye Shor, Geet Gaata Chal, Chitchor, Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaaye, Paheli and Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se.
