This year, there are total 6 Bollywood movie are selected for IIFA Best Film Award 2017. These movie are – Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Neerja, Pink, Sultan and Udta Punjab.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a 2016’s popular Hindi romantic Film, which was written and directed by Karan Johar. It features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. It was released on 28 October 2016 on the Diwali weekend.

M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story: M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is a 2016’s popular Hindi biographical sports film, which was written and directed by Neeraj Pandey. This film is based on the life of former Test, ODI and T20 captain of the Indian national cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajputas Dhoni, along with Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, and Anupam Kher.

Neerja: Neerja is a 2016’s popular Hindi biographical Film, which was directed by Ram Madhvani and written by Saiwyn Quadras and Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh, and featuring Sonam Kapoor as lead actress.

Pink: Pink is a 2016’s popular Hindi courtroom drama film, which is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, and written by Ritesh Shah. The film is starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Angad Bedi, Andrea Tariang, Piyush Mishra, and Dhritiman Chatterjee.

Sultan: Sultan is a 2016’s popular Hindi romantic sports-drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, and starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma as lead roles. The film was released worldwide on 6 July 2016 and grossed approximately ₹584 crore worldwide and became the seventh highest grossing Indian film of all time.

Udta Punjab: Udta Punjab is a 2016’s popular Hindi crime comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The film is based on and revolves around the drug abuse by the youth population in the Indian state of Punjab. The movie is starring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and, Diljit Dosanjh.
