Frank Sinatra Biography and Personal Life Info: He was born on December 12, 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey and began his musical career in the swing era with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. He found success as a solo artist after being signed by Columbia Records in 1943 and becoming the idol of the “bobby soxers”.

He released his first album, The Voice of Frank Sinatra, in 1946 and turned to Las Vegas in 1950, where he became one of its best known performers as part of the Rat Pack.

He signed with Capitol Records and released several critically lauded albums, including In the Wee Small Hours (1955), Songs for Swingin’ Lovers! (1956), Come Fly with Me (1958), Only the Lonely (1958) and Nice ‘n’ Easy (1960).

Personal Life and Family: Sinatra had three children, Nancy, Frank Jr, and Tina from his first wife Nancy Sinatra. They met Barbato in Long Branch, New Jersey in the late 1930s, where he spent most of the summer working as a lifeguard.
